Welcome to the Lake Houston Civic Pulse
— your hub for civic updates, community events, and voter education across the Lake Houston area.
The Lake Houston Civic Engagement Coalition is pleased to introduce the Civic Ambassadors Program (CAP), a year-long initiative that helps high school students develop leadership skills, engage in civic life, and serve their communities. Through CAP, students will grow into informed, compassionate, and active community leaders.
For the 2026–27 school year, the program will be piloted at Summer Creek High School, Humble High School, and C. E. King High School. For more information, contact your school counselor..
